Call for Papers

Abstracts of 300-500 words and session proposals should be submitted  online in English or Ukrainian by October 15, 2011.

Timetable for submission of paper and session proposals, notification of acceptance, submission of final draft of presentation, conference registration: 

  • October 15, 2011 - abstracts for individual papers and session proposals are due.
  • December 15, 2011 - the Program Committee will complete selection of papers based on abstracts and notify chosen speakers.
  • January 1, 2012 - conference registration opens.
  • February 15, 2012 - final drafts of conference presentations are due for distribution to session chairs and discussants.

Author Guidelines

Required format of uploaded file:

  • 12 point font
  • Times New Roman typeface
  • Spacing of 1.5 lines
  • Minimum 2 cm margins left, right, top, bottom

For INDIVIDUAL ABSTRACTS:

  • Header on first page should be at top left (for all authors) and include the following information:
    • Title and name of author (i.e. Dr. Joan F. Smith), position (i.e. Associate Professor), home institution, city and country
    • Email address
    • Telephone numbers (country code, city code, number for office and home or mobile)
  • Centered – ABSTRACT
  • Centered 2 lines below – Title of the paper
  • Text
  • Centered at bottom of page – page number

Please note at the end of your abstract what audio-visual technology you will require with your paper (i.e slide projector; LED projector and laptop; speakers, etc.)

 

For SESSION PROPOSAL: 

Sessions will include a session organizer or chair, 2-4 presenters, and 1 or 2 discussants. The session organizer or chair should submit in one file:

  • An abstract stating the title and theme of the session;
  • A list that includes the name and other information of the chair, presenters,  and the titles of their presentations
  • Abstract of each paper to be presented
  • name, affiliation, contact data for discussants if available

Attention! Every session participant should register on the conference web site and submit individual abstract. Your submission should include name of the session and data about its chair.
